Position: (Finance - Associate)

Location – Mumbai

Job Recuirements:

Brief Job Description: End to end processing of payments and account of transactions. This would include generation of MIS, analysis of ledgers and reports leading to preparation of cash flow and financial statements. Efficiency in the work execution, compliance with internal controls & statutory requirements and integrity are key requirements. The candidate will work under the supervision of a senior resource and will be responsible to undertake all the activities as delegated by the seniors and report progress accordingly.

On an indicative basis, the key responsibilities for this position include:

To ensure timely payments to vendors, staff etc. and accounting for the transactions in the ERP system; including supervising an outsourced team responsible for undertaking payment and accounting.

To create masters in the ERP system.

To undertake bank reconciliation.

To analyse and monitor the accounts payable and accounts receivable.

To account for fixed assets and stock items and undertake periodic reconciliation with physical stock.

To scrutinize ledger accounts and follow up for receivables / ensure liquidation of payables and reconciliation of ledgers with the counterparty.

To prepare payment instructions, upload file, DD request letter etc. for undertaking payments.

To coordinate with the bank officials for any official matter.

To coordinate with the out sources agency / vendors and staff for seeking required information and/or addressing their queries.

To coordinate with the IT team for any queries / issues related to the functioning of the ERP/accounting systems. Local travel may be required on a regular basis to different offices of the Foundation and the outsourced agency.

To draw reports from the system / prepare MIS manually and undertake required analysis / reconciliation / actions as may be required.

To compute statutory liabilities (PF, TDS, PT, ESIC, LWF, etc.) and reconcile with ledger; make payment (online or manual) and prepare & file respective returns in different states.

To coordinate with officials of ICICI Bank and or Group Companies for any official matter.

To prepare donation receipts / grant letters and various instructions / documents as may be required.

To prepare required information for auditors, consultants, statutory authorities, etc.

To give inputs for cost optimisation and process improvements.

To support other teams in Foundation as and when required.
