Job Description

Position: Coordinator

Location: Malviya Nagar, New Delhi

Employment: Contractual

Responsibilities:

Plan, Coordinate, and oversee programs targeting marginalized communities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.?Develop and implement strategies to promote initiatives tailored to the need of diverse groups, with a focus on empowering individuals and other marginalized communities.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders,including government agencies, community leaders, and partner organizations, to enhance programs effectiveness and reach.

Conduct needs assessments and research to identify gaps and opportunities for improving educational and skill development services for target populations.

Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns on relevant topics.

Monitor program activities and evaluate outcomes to measure impact and identify areas for improvement, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Provide guidance and support to program staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Develop and maintain partnership with educational institutions, vocational training centers, and employers to facilitate access to resources and opportunities for program participants.

Prepare reports, presentations, and grant proposals to secure funding and communicate program achievements to stakeholders and donors.

Stay updated on best practices, trends, and policies related to programs.

Also write on events, planning, Newsletter, meeting minutes and annual report. Proof reading and editing.

Cultural Co-ordination and Event Management – Coordination with subordinate teachers on with guidance of management, to manage and decided upon cultural, literary and educational activities and delegate tasks to different stakeholders and ensure all things function smoothly within the deadlines. May require coming early or staying back late to coordinate and supervise the particulars of the event.

Look after all official mails and acknowledge, answer or draft for consultation with president as per requirement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.?Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) in project coordination, preferably in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on education, skill development, health etc.,

Knowledge of issues affecting marginalized communities, and a commitment to promoting social inclusion and equality.

Strong understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution oriented approach.

Experience in developing and implementing training programs or workshops is desirable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages, especially local languages, is an advantage.

Flexibility to travel as needed and work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate program activities and events.

Package: 6 to 7 lac PA
