Job Description:

Cluster Coordinator will be the in charge for the cluster and he/she will implement all the given activities as per the project design.  He/she will build rapport with communities and he/she will be the bridge between Project Coordinator at the field and ensure the quality programme inputs to all stakeholders.   Creating inclusive learning environment with emphasis on improving access and retention of students at elementary level and make children to utilise the Mobile Resource Centre resources. Advocate and campaign for enrolling all children from Waste Picking families from Baseline survey to reaching our activities to the stakeholders as per the project design

Roles and Responsibilities

Support the Project Coordinator – Be the focal person to plan and implement project activities at the area wise/Cluster level as per the project design and time frame.

Contribute his/her actions for strengthening of a project strategy to fulfil the overall project objective and its quality parameters

Monitor progress of project objectives and help in capturing the information/data for feeding the MIS.

Facilitate the Trainings and build capacities for the communities and other stakeholders.

Facilitate and Involve in all assessment including Baseline and end line studies, capacity building programmes for Teachers, Anganwadi Workers and other key stakeholders as per the project requirements

Undertake frequent visits and facilitate meetings with all stakeholders and to undertake activities with quality as per the specifications given the project design

Maintain records, MIS and field documents to support the monthly and quarterly reports

Coordinate & seek necessary support from various department officials at the ground to undertake project activities including health, education, Women Welfare and Child Development, vocational training and skill building for undeserved youth.

Support the Project Coordinator for timely and quality project/donor reporting as per the time line

Documentation of best practices, case studies for sharing with donor and to publish in internal journals

Establishing Child Groups in project schools and build their capacities to become Child Champions to voice their issues and concerns

Abide the local office administrative procedures including the terms of timings, code of conduct, child safe guarding policy as per Sparsha mandate

Preparation and sharing of Monthly and Quarterly field reports to State Office with accurate information for support MIS at state level

Adhering to all financial norms and procedures of Sparsha

Undertake appropriate additional responsibilities as assigned by the line manager

Competency Requirements

Qualification:

Preferably degree from a recognized Board; weightage will be given to candidates with higher certificate in a discipline/stream related to health/Rural development/Social work or relevant field.

Candidate must be active and interested to work in field and open for Travel.

Experience:  At least 3-5 years focussed experience working in early childhood education, working with NGOs, schools, community mobilization or managing projects in education and experience in working with Waste Picking families and other vulnerable families will be desirable.
