Area Coordinator - 02:- Minimum Qualification: Post-graduation/Graduate/B.Sc. Agriculture, the experience of a minimum 2-3 years in livelihood intervention, Community mobilization, and Agri & allied services.

Location:- Giridih and Hazaribagh – Jharkhand

Job description

• To roll out various livelihood’s interventions i.e. Farm, Off Farm and Non-Farm with the active involvement of the Community Base Organisation in conjunction with the Field Staff for each of the interventions.

• Trained and Support the Field Staff in scaling up in the various livelihood interventions. Responsible for producing Village Livelihood Plans (which details the current livelihoods of SHG. Women/ Youth HHs and potential opportunities)

• Provide support and undertake activities of Men/women FPC in Dumri Block of Giridih District.

• Work with women leaders of community organization and provide them exposure to businesses and develop their business skills and capacity

• Work with women leaders of community organization and Identify new opportunities in the agriculture value chains.

• Maintain all field data, records and files and submit various reports as required.

• Look after all business activities that the women groups as Producer groups engage in from procurement to input supply and any kind of enterprise.

• Preferred experience

• Worked with women/ Men Federations

• Worked with Mandis and rural markets.

• Experience in Community mobilization.

Skills

• Skills and attitude to develop community women leaders and members

• Business planning and execution skills

• Team building

• Sensitive to gender issues, stigma and barriers to social inclusion.

• Must have leadership and managerial skills.

• Have experience working with the government line department.

• Minimum Qualification: Graduate

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Livelihood Promotion, FPC Business development, marketing and working with FPO, Community Mobilization,

• Must have strong communication, capacity building and negotiation skills

• Must have strong Leadership Quality

• Willingness to travel
