Program Manager(Health) will be responsible to provide directions, guidance and support to a team consisting of Assistant Program Manager ,Project Coordinators / Field Coordinators, Community Volunteers and Health Worker etc.
Key Activity Areas
•Manage the assigned health projects in order to meet the project objectives within budget and the allotted time frame and report promptly any operational concerns.
•Provide strong leadership of the assigned health projects, working to ensure both short and long-term positive impacts and outcomes for the beneficiaries, local health authorities and local health staff.
•Contribute to development of an effective strategy including proactive planning for responsible exit.
•Set clear objectives and indicators for health activities.
•Continuously monitor and supervise health activities, evaluating progress through outputs and impacts using both quantitative and qualitative data, and involving the health team.
•Provide input into the integration of beneficiary participation in all aspects of the project.
•Ensure accurate reporting of activities on applicable formats.
•Develop new proposals, linked to the assessed needs and gaps
Staff Management
•Line-manage the Health Managers of the projects, including day-to-day management, development and training, appraisals, etc.
•Facilitate regular meetings to assist information sharing between project staff, to ensure all staff members are aware of current work plans and to provide the opportunity for feedback.
•Provide coaching and training to staff in order to develop ownership and full responsibility for activities.
Financial Management
•Manage the health budget for the projects and ensure all expenses are according to budget and meet the standards regarding financial management, including accountability and good governance.
Communication & Coordination
•Develop appropriate and supportive communication structures with relevant stakeholders such as beneficiaries, community leaders, government officials etc
•Participate in health coordination meetings, internal trainings, and other working groups, representing and feed back on relevant issues.
Logistics
•Support the logistics activities of health staff, particularly in relation to the purchasing of medicines, supplies and equipment for the assigned health facilities and activities.
Quality Management
•Ensure projects are implemented in line with donor requirements and in accordance
•Reflect the values of CF with team members, local staff, beneficiaries, and external contacts.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification:- PGDRD/MSW/M.A/Masters in Health Management from any recognized university.
Experience Required:- Minimum 8-10 years experience required in Health sector.
Should have knowledge of Local Languages:-
Ranchi , Jharkhand- Hindi , English
Computer Knowledge – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
Job Locations: Ranchi ,Jharkhand
Ranchi , Jharkhand based candidates will be preferred.
