Job Description

 Paschim Banga Krira-O-Janakalyan Parishad(PBKOJP) is a non-governmental organization working in the fields of Child Protection, Education, Community Health Care and Life skill training for income generation.

PBKOJP is looking for a case worker for Prerona Protection Home For Girls, located at Bhawanipur, Kolkata.

Eligibility

1. She will have the clear concept of JJ act and Child Care Institutions (CCI)

2. Must have strong documentation skill

3. Will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of activities, interactions, assessments, and progress of each child in our home.

4. Must be punctual in reporting in office, submitting reports to the donor.

5. Must be flexible with working hours (ready to work after office hours at office or at home as and when it is required)

6. Must have proficiency in English as the post delivers high documentation and reports in English.

7. Must be computer friendly. Will possess technical knowledge of using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, sending mails, surfing internet, study materials from internet.

8. Should be comfortable for working in team as well as individual.

9. Possess child friendly attitude, ensure safety, best practices and high quality standards for the kids at care home.

Qualifications

Qualification: graduate in Social work/psychology/sociology/other humanities subjects with 1-2 years’ experience in working in Child Care Institutions (CCI).

Desirable: Post graduate in Social work/psychology/sociology/other humanities subjects, working as a case worker would be an added advantage

Position availability: Should join from April 2024 (negotiable)

Salary: Rs.17000/month (Gross) (non-negotiable)
