CCDC has been recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. CCDC also holds recognition as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Surveillance, Capacity Building and Translational Research in Cardio-metabolic diseases.

Project Brief: This project is designated a research of national health priority and is implementation research to strengthen the delivery of services for NCDs in the public health care delivery system. In this project, study team will work closely with implementers in the primary health centres, community health centres and district hospital. There are gaps in health care delivery such as interrupted supply of drugs, no guideline-based management, doctor centred care processes with no team-based care, no counselling for lifestyle modification that are well known. This project aims to strengthen these gaps through known evidence-based interventions such as decision support tools and strengthening supply chain for drugs.

Job Description:

The Project Technical Support at CCDC will play a pivotal role in supporting the technical aspects of the project, ensuring efficient data management and providing assistance in research-related tasks. The responsibilities of this role will include: 

Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure data management meets project requirements and standards.

Maintain records of budget and accounts statements related to the project.

Compile and organize records of all meetings conducted at the central level of the project.

Assist in the coordination of research-related tasks, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

Assist in training of project staff on data collection procedures and software usage.

Support in the preparation and dissemination of reports, documentation papers, and proposals.

Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and other team members to facilitate smooth project operations.

Assist in designing data collection forms using, data analysis derived from project sites, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Perform data cleaning procedures to maintain data integrity.

Assist in generating performance reports based on analyzed data.

Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor & Project PI to support the successful execution of the project.

Competencies/ Skill sets required:

Education: Three years Graduate in relevant subject / field

Three years’ experience or PG in relevant subject / field

For Engineering / IT / CS – First Class Four Years Graduate Degree + Three Years Experience

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Prior experiencein NCDs projects or digital health projects management.

Excellent ability to read, write and speak in Hindi and English

Experience in data management and analysis is desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualification
