Consultancy Assignment to Revise/ Rewrite HR Policy Manual of ChildFund in India
Introduction:
ChildFund is a child-focused organisation. We exist for children – and their voices and experiences guide everything we do. Each year, we reach millions of children and family members contending with poverty though programs that support them to create the conditions children need to thrive.
As a community development organization, we work hand in hand with local partner organizations to diminish the impact of poverty on children. Because local people know their own neighbourhoods best. Families know their own dynamics best. And children know what it’s like to be themselves better than anyone.
We believe that people are people, no matter their circumstances or experiences, and that their value is intrinsic and immeasurable. We strive to honour the dignity of every child in our programs and every human being we meet, no matter what.
In India, ChildFund works towards ensuring that children from the most marginalized sections of the society become able, confident, and responsible adults. For over seven decades, we have been committed to addressing critical issues related to children’s holistic development by engaging key stakeholders including families, communities, schools, government and the children themselves. We provide comprehensive support to children through interventions that integrate health, nutrition, gender, education, livelihoods and child protection.
We have a team of about 100 plus development professionals and subject experts along with a number of consultants and other engagements operating across 13 states of India, through key offices in Bangalore and Delhi and a few field offices in different states.
