Position: Program Manager- Gender and development

Job Location:Bhopal

Responsibilities

Effectively manage the women safty project independently through effective programme and financial planning

Engage with department to report on the strategies, outcomes and impacts

Manage and Guide team to achieve committed outcomes/results

Visit programme areas and provide direct support to the team on the ground

Engage with Civil Society/ Government officials on GBV issues to develop enabling environment

Conducting capacity building program on women safty

Conducting livelihood activities including monitoring of ongoing trainings

Documentantation of the projects report writing,case story.

Master’s degree in Social Sciences (Gender and development) or other related disciplines from a recognized University or institution

At least 3 years of experience of implementing women empowerment projects

At least 2 years of experience of managing development programmes. 2 years’ experience in senior positions with skills of documentation, monitoring and implementing projects

Strong field experience, especially with the women innurban rural both .

Good understanding of emerging social issues, equity, gender justice.

Should be able to manage team and plan their work, monitor and review the progress, and supervise MIS

Good expertise on computer skills including use of social media, E-Communications

Good writing and speaking skills in Hindi & English is essential.
