S.A.N.K.A.L.P was established in 1997 as a not-for-profit development organization for sustainable-effect project outcomes. Its primary focus is holistic sustainable development projects benefiting all sections of society.

S.A.N.K.A.L.P is characterized as an implementing organization that designs and implements developmental projects with the partnership and support of government, non-government, national, and international organizations. It is managed by indigenous professionals having practical and technical experience of development projects.

Position Title: “Project Operations and Communications Expert”

Thematic area of Projects: “Environmental Concerns and Rural Tourism development”

Essential Qualifications:

• Post Graduation in Social Welfare/Sociology/Rural development/Management /Tourism

• Excellent writing and spoken skills in English and Hindi.

• Must have skills – report writing as needed for social research, data analysis skills and documentation such as PPT, One-pager, Concept Notes, Proposal Writing, etc.

Required Attributes:

• She / he should have good English and Hindi speaking, oral presentation and writing skills, understanding of issues in rural development / governance, and commitment to work in the development sector. The candidate needs to be well versed with MS-Office applications.

Required experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in project management; social development sector, rural development, tourism development including reports and proposal writing, data analysis and analytical report development, PPT preparation, etc.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing the project strategies.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Setting & monitoring key performance indicators.

• Developing monitoring plan, conducting review of projects.

• Coordination with the stakeholders, clients, and funding agencies.

• Ensuring compliance with government regulations, CSR compliance and organization’s policies.

• Representing the organization in external events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

• Preparation of annual report, and newsletters.

• Preparation and finalization of project reports, DPRs, one pager, ppts, data analysis and other reports.

• Maintaining and Monitoring the MIS and other relevant data.

• Preparing the concept notes for the projects and other documentation.

Office Location: “Lucknow” with willing to travel to project sites in Uttar Pradesh.

Proposed Salary – 45 to 50 k/month
