Position Overview
We are looking for an Associate for a multi-stakeholder platform that has been created to engage civil society, academic institutions, CSO platforms/forums/alliances in supporting the multi-sectoral approach of the POSHAN Abhiyaan strategy, which is key to the progress of the Poshan Jan Andolan.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential partners for collaboration.
- Turn potential organizations into active partnerships.
- Design partnerships engagement strategy, company-specific and webinars, and podcasts.
- Assist in preparing reports and updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure that learnings are institutionalized across projects and further inform program strategy
- Draft community-based project proposals (nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive) and ensure their smooth rollout across the country
- Conduct research on potential funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships
- Coordinate with the team members to maintain compliance and quality of project activities
- Generate a repository for nutrition resources by accumulating and documenting best practices
- Assist in identifying impactful content for social media promotion.
What we are looking for:
- A degree in public health, social work, public health, nutrition, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred, and 2-4 years of work experience.
- Excellent skills in both spoken and written communication. Fluency in Hindi is preferred.
- Eye for detail: ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program in accordance with the results committed
- Demonstrated excellent skills in collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent skills in planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action
- Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information.
- Previous experience of working in the development sector is beneficial and an advantage.
- Self-starter who will thrive in a start-up setting by taking ownership and initiative.
- Passion for promoting women's and girls’ empowerment and nutrition.
- High professional ethics and commitment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bihar and travel as and when required.
