HYDERABAD CHAPTER – PROGRAMME MANAGER
Dignity Foundation is starting its new Chapter in Hyderabad and is seeking a highly-motivated, self-driven and passionate programme manager to effectively kick-start and scale up the programme as per the plans and targets set by the Head Office team in Mumbai.
Job Description:
Program Manager has to work creatively for the productive and happy ageing of senior citizens and to strengthen Chai Masti Centre (CMC) i.e. membership programme of senior citizens.
Create awareness and interest in Chai Masti Centre & its benefits for senior citizens using various marketing techniques with the support of Head Office team. Building rapport with enrolled members and to increase membership numbers in the CMC centre. Regularly organise sessions, programmes and events for Chai Masti members.
Programme Manager will ideate and implement events that align with the productive ageing philosophy of Dignity Foundation. Also, coordinate fundraising, budgeting, planning & reporting and community outreach activities.
S/he will also be responsible for handling senior citizens helpline calls, requisition and queries in a professional and timely manner. Ensure follow-up calls & visits are conducted on time and facilitate to solve the problem. Maintain a record of the call details and communication progress.
Liaisoning with local administration and allied systems in the city to increase influence of Dignity Foundation and explore collaborations for senior citizen welfare.
Set up calls and meetings with prospective donors and effectively engage with donor prospects to transition them to fund and support the organization’s programmes.
Work cooperatively and effectively with other staff, volunteers and clients. Report regularly to the Head Office team, join planning & progress meetings, make presentations, etc.
Responsible for managing on-ground and off-ground activities of all programmes implemented by Dignity Foundation such as World Alzheimer’s Day, World Elder’s Day, etc.
Team player, with the ability to work on one’s initiative as well as part of a small dynamic team.
Proficiency in Microsoft office, including Power point, Excel and Word.
Should be willing to travel as required.
Good knowledge of Budget making, target setting and achievement, marketing techniques, digital media knowledge is highly desirable.
Excellent communication strengths, good writing skills, presentation, delivery are all essential. Languages preferred are English and Telugu. Knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
Educational Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have some educational or experiential background in the social sector or NGO management. Strong preference will be given to candidates holding an M.S.W. degree from a reputed institution.
Remuneration:
Remuneration for this position is up to Rs. 30,000 per month.
