Youth4Jobs has evolved to be a system changer and has partnered with governments, 1300+ companies, educational institutions, NGOs, youth with disabilities and their parents. It has also has launched a Job Portal, called “SwarajAbility”- South Asias’ first AI triggered accessible jobs platform exclusively for youth with disabilities.

Position Title: Centre Manager

Location: Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad

Position Overview: The Centre Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the centre. They are responsible for managing staff, coordinating programs and services, fostering community partnerships, and ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the centre to achieve its mission and goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.    Program Coordination:

Responsible for meeting the project outcomes and output as agreed with Y4J & funders that includes planning, mobilisation, coordination, monitoring training and placements including wage & self-employment of youth to meet project deliverables.

Identify new partnership, maintain existing partnerships with various stakeholders like Education institutes, Special Schools, NGOS, companies and government. On-board / register them on Swarability portal.

Source local employers, follow up leads to ensure placements & target of centre is achieved. On-board / register them on Swarability portal.

Work closely with program staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Monitor program outcomes and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.

Implement organisational policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the centre.

Monitor candidates' progress in training programs and provide support and encouragement to help them overcome challenges and succeed by being a Student Relation Officer (SRO)

2.    Community Engagement / Mobilization:

Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including local government agencies, businesses, schools, and other non-profits.

Represent the centre at community events, meetings, and forums to raise awareness and promote collaboration. All the data collected from such events be ported on to Swarability Portal.

Identify opportunities for new partnerships and funding sources to support the centre’s mission and programs.

Develop and implement strategies to reach and engage target population, including marginalized communities, youth, women, and people with disabilities.

3.           Job Placement and Employer Engagement:

Identify job opportunities that match candidates' skills, qualifications, and career aspirations through job postings, networking, and employer outreach. Such opportunities shall be ported on to Swarability.

Liaise with employers to understand their hiring needs, preferences, and requirements for candidates. Further data to be ported on Swarability.

Facilitate the placement process through Swarajability portal / any other process including connecting qualified candidates with job openings, arranging interviews, and providing ongoing support to both candidates and employers during the hiring process.

4.    Financial Management:

Monitor expenses and revenue to ensure financial sustainability.

Work closely with the finance and accounts team to ensure utilization of budgets thereby.

Adhere to ZoHo process for all finance related parameters.

5.    Facility Management:

Oversee the maintenance and security of the centre’s facilities and equipment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Monitor and ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures and best practices.

6.    Evaluation and Reporting:

Follow and implement systems for monitoring and evaluating the centre’s impact and effectiveness.

Periodically Prepare regular reports, case studies for the funders, and other stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, social work, business administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in non-profit management or a similar leadership role in skilling and placement domain.

Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and volunteers.

Excellent communication in English and local language and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.

Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and grant management.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to non-profit organizations.
