Job title/designation: Project Officer, Health Program

Salary: As per experience

Location: Farakka, West Bengal

Qualification: MPH (Master In Public Health) , MSW (Masters in Social work) or any other relevant degree.

Job Summary& Responsibilities: The candidate shall be responsible for all healthcare projects implemented in Farakka (West Bengal) which includes implementation, monitoring, reporting, survey, research, team management, communications and high orientation skills on new age healthcare practices. The major job description highlighted as under (but not limited to) signify demonstration of high skillsets in undertaking the following responsibilities such as;

1. Ensure smooth implementation of health projects like MCH, NCD, MHM, Malnutrition, Telemedicine, Community Clinics, Mental Health and Communicable Diseases

2. Coordinate with health workers (Sakhis) for program implementation

3. Network and liaise with local stakeholders like ICDS, PHCs, Sub centers, District Hospitals and Medical Officers for conducting various awareness camps and check-up camps.

4. Conduct surveys, research assignments at community level as and when required with the support from health workers.

5. Coordinate for conducting trainings of health projects.

6. Ensure timely update of IMS data templates and submission of reports, case studies, success stories, impact cases, database and healthcare app management

7. Create proposal for funding and donor relations.

8. Must have own two wheeler with license for field movement.

Competencies:

1. Good rapport building with community organizing skills.

2. Fluent in Local language (Bengali read and write)

3. Good implementation and communication skills.

4. Be a team player and have ability to undertake any tasks as assigned by seniors.

5. Ability to meet deadlines and have commitment towards professional tasks.

6. Excellent documentation, communication and presentation skills

Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the relevant field with specific job knowledge.
