SUMMARY
Wadhwani AI is hiring for the position of Program Manager - Maternal Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) based out of Delhi. This position requires MNCH technical expertise, public health experience, strong coordination skills, understanding of the Indian public health system and ability to develop positive, professional working relationships with various government/non government counterparts and other development partners. This position reports to the respective program lead.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to the Innovation team consisting of team members from Programs, Products, Engineering, and Research to build artificial intelligence-based solutions addressing specific problems.
Build working relations and be the primary interface with government and non-profit organizations in assigned geography
Be the team's main resource for finding knowledge and experts/expertise relevant to the problem.
Design, set up, and execute efforts such as data collection, clinical studies, field experiments, and pilots.
Write proposals or study protocols independently, with inputs from other team members
Work with partners and stakeholders to develop the roadmap, operational plans, and financial proposals for setting up data collection/field experimentation or rollout sites in the intervention geography.
Work in collaboration with multifunction teams, partner organizations, and the government to develop high-quality program deliverables. This includes, but is not limited to, study designs, program plans, solution design, training plans, and training content.
Provide technical support to the identified institute/ clinical sites for successful implementation of desired program components
Manage the design, implementation, and monitoring of all activities to ensure necessary technical input and coordination to achieve desired results.
Coordinate and collaborate with government officials and other stakeholders for ongoing implementation of activities in the intervention sites
Develop and produce documents like landscaping reports, research proposals, program plans, donor reports etc. as per the program need and local context
Undertake process documentation of lessons learned during the program implementation and best practices emerging from the intervention sites
Work closely with the supervisor on setting program priorities, directions, and responding to requests for technical support from relevant stakeholders
Represent Wadhwani AI at various forums & gatherings/meetings involving partners, government officials, and other development organizations.
Perform other activities, as assigned by the supervisor to achieve organizational goals.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience and demonstrated ability working with government health programs, counterparts and systems at the national/ state level.
Direct experience of independently liaising with stakeholders, development partners and government health functionaries.
Proficiency in writing technical and programmatic documents such as operational guidelines, assessment reports etc.
Technically proficient in the field of MNCH with up to date skills required for the assigned task.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to handle a variety of assignments under pressure of deadlines
Microsoft Office computer skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to travel up to 50% of his/her time.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Medical/Nursing graduate with Masters in Public Health (MPH) or equivalent
At least 8 years of experience working with government programs and systems for large scale public health programs
Knowledge of latest RMNCH program guidelines and operational components
Familiarity with the Indian health system, key stakeholders and relevant government policies/strategies—particularly National Health Mission
