Bandhan was set up in the year 2001 to meet the cardinal goals of poverty alleviation and women empowerment. There is an entire suite of development programs which are aimed at bringing about holistic transformation in the underprivileged community. Bandhan-Konnagar is actively engaged in the field of education, health, livelihood promotion, enterprise development, employment generation and the like.

Targeting the Hard Core Poor (THP) program is designed to uplift socio economic development of women headed ultra-poor families especially in rural areas. The organization is implementing the project in thirteen states of India with assistance from several corporate and Governmental organizations.

Bandhan is looking for hard working candidates for Targeting the Hard Core Poor (THP) Project at Mysuru district, Karnataka in different position. It is a residential job. Candidates needs to spent long hours at field.

A. Community Organizer (CO)

Responsibilities:

? Ensure implementation of all field activities according to the THP program timeline.

? Daily follow up visits of beneficiaries through group meetings and individual home visits as per schedule.

? Motivating beneficiaries to develop their enterprises.

? Maintain documentation of beneficiaries’ enterprise details at field and branch office.

? Linking beneficiaries with different social security schemes.

? Assist Branch Manager to prepare periodical reports such as weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.

Educational Qualification: Any Graduate or equivalent degree. MSW, Master in Rural Development etc would be preferable.

Essential Requirements: Candidate should be hard working and honest. He/She must possess leadership and communication skills. He/she should be a team player and having computer skills and android mobile phone.

Experience: Hard working freshers or 1-2 years of experience in social sector, marketing, MFI etc.

Age group : 23-32 years

Salary : Rs. 14,000/- (Gross) + PF, ESI, Bonus

B. Team Leader (TL) - THP Bandhan Konnagar

Responsibilities:

 Responsible for overall branch operations and project implementation in assigned area.

 Lead a team of 3 to 4 members.

 Selection of beneficiaries based on programme criteria.

 Conducting enterprise development training with beneficiaries.

 Follow up of enterprises of beneficiaries and plan accordingly to develop.

 Allocate and monitor staff duties and responsibilities.

 Maintain branch documentation manually and in office provided computer/Tab.

 Communication liaison with local governments, banks, village level committees etc.

 Take necessary measures of internal audit findings.

 Assist Area Coordinator (AC) in reporting, documentation and project implementation.

Educational Qualification: Any Graduate or equivalent degree with at least 2 to 3 years of working experiences in any NGO/Social sector. Other field level experience and diversifying candidates can be considered.

Salary : Rs. 21,000/- (Gross) + PF, ESI, Bonus
