Overall role:
• To train & build capacity of the staff (Master Trainers, Head Masters, Block Managers, Community Youth Leaders) involved primarily in the implementation of teacher-led life skills intervention in 9,500 Tribal Residential and Non-residential Schools in Madhya Pradesh from 2023 -2027 which will impact approximately 700,000 adolescents in Middle Schools + Tribal Hostels.
Key Responsibilities:
• To conduct Master Trainer workshops to build the capacity of the MTs to train teachers who will be involved in the implementation of teacher-led life skills intervention for the adolescents in Middle Schools + Tribal Hostels.
• To build the capacity of the Block Managers for mentoring and handholding of the teachers, activation of SMCs, bal panchayats & establishments of study corners
• To plan & conduct Headmaster orientation to ensure they support the teachers for a seamless programme implementation.
• To conduct training of the Community Youth Leaders to build their capacity to plan & conduct various community engagement activities.
• Preparing and maintaining training data & reports as required
• Conduct periodic evaluations on the quality & effectiveness of the training.
• Periodic revision of the developed training and assessment resources based on the feedback.
• To Support the HR team in ensuring quality and trainability of resources hired for the programme.
• Provide strategic training support to the project team operating at the State and district level & the government for the overall programme implementation & future strategy.
* The content modules will mainly revolve around Life Skills, 21st century skills, socio-emotional learning.

• Knowledge of child development, youth development and community programmes
• Deep knowledge about the adult learning & participatory training methodology
• Excellent research skills
• Excellent English writing skills
• Good written knowledge of Hindi/ any local language
• Excellent verbal English and Hindi/any local language skills
• Event management skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficient in report writing
• Functional knowledge of data collection & analysis
Mobility requirements
• Travel would be required in line with the requirements of the projects in to different project locations as well as for representing Magic Bus on various platforms if required from time to time.
Qualification and Experience
• Bachelors/ master’s degree in any stream from reputed University – Specialization in social science, Education, English and Psychology will be given preference.
• Familiar with social issues like education, child rights, life skills, gender, community engagement
• Experience of working in domains related to children, education and the school system.
• 5-7 years of work experience with 3+ years of experience in conducting trainings /workshops for various stakeholders- children, teacher, govt. stakeholders
• Experience in report writing.
• Data management & analysis experience
