Position: Talent Acquisition Manager

Reports to: Director–Operation 

Location: Bangalore

Functional Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining exceptional employees. The role involves continuously seeking out top talent, developing a compelling employment brand, and fostering positive relationships with candidates and employees. The tasks include sourcing/attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees, all while factoring in the long-term goals of an organization.   This position holds significant value in the organization as it relies on the skills and the ability of the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify talented individuals and support their career growth. 

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

1.Staffing Needs Assessment:

Assess and determine organizational staffing needs, candidate selection criteria and position grades.

Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and the schedule.

Review, update, and/or create job descriptions.

2.Talent Acquisition Strategies:

Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans, prepare hiring schedules in coordination with hiring departments/managers.

Identify and attract top talent through various sourcing channels (job boards, social media, referrals, etc.).

Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines for potential applicants; participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to build a strong candidate pipeline.

Collaborate with talent sourcing to understand market trends and to source personnel with specialized skills as and when required.

3.recruitment Process:

Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes including screening and short listing of most-suitable candidates; doing preliminary scrutiny, organizing & scheduling different rounds of interviews with in-house panel members; completing reference checks for selected candidates; negotiating terms and conditions; sending offer letters.

Ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies during the recruitment process

4 Candidate Experience:

Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

Communicate effectively with candidates, addressing their questions and concerns promptly.

5.Employee Retention and Development:

Assist in employee retention efforts by ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

Collaborate with HR team and the Management to support employee development and career growth.

6 Employment Branding:

Lead employment branding initiatives such as employee testimonials, day-in-the-life videos, activities update on website and social media, employee-generated content etc. to enhance the company’s reputation as an employer of choice.

Create and maintain a compelling employment brand that resonates with potential candidates.

7.Metrics and Analysis:

Use recruitment metrics to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.

Continuously refine recruitment strategies based on performance data.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum two years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role

Proven track record in full cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods and employment branding.

Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.

Required skills and competencies:

Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks

Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
