Job Description:
SANMAT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate MBBS graduate to join our team as a Residential
Medical Officer (RMO). The RMO will be responsible for delivering primary healthcare services
within residential communities, ensuring the well-being of residents, and promoting a healthy living
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Medical Care Provision:
Provide comprehensive medical care to residents within the residential facility.
Conduct routine health assessments, examinations, and diagnosis of medical conditions.
Administer appropriate treatments, medications, and therapies as per established protocols
and guidelines.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions to stabilize
patients.
Health Monitoring and Management:
Monitor the health status of residents on an ongoing basis, documenting observations and
progress.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for
residents.
Coordinate with specialists and consultants as needed for further evaluation and treatment
of complex medical conditions.
2. Primary Healthcare Provision:
Provide primary healthcare services to residents including routine check-ups, diagnosis, and
treatment of common illnesses, and management of chronic conditions.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the residential
complex, assess the situation, and provide appropriate medical intervention until further
assistance arrives.
3. Patient Education and Support:
Educate residents and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and
preventive measures.
Offer emotional support and counseling to residents and families, addressing their concerns
and queries with empathy and professionalism.
Encourage healthy lifestyle practices and adherence to prescribed medications and
treatments.
4. Health Education:
Conduct health education sessions and workshops for residents on preventive healthcare
measures, lifestyle modifications, and disease management.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including nurses, specialists,
and allied healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
5. Medical Records Maintenance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of residents, including medical histories,
treatment plans, and progress notes.
6. Coordination:
Coordinate with external healthcare facilities and specialists for referrals, diagnostic tests,
and specialized treatments as needed.
7. Community Engagement:
Engage actively with residents to understand their healthcare needs and preferences, and
work towards enhancing the healthcare services offered by SANMAT.
8. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of all residents, including clinical notes,
progress reports, and treatment plans.
Prepare comprehensive medical reports and documentation for internal review and external
referrals.
9. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Adhere to medical protocols, standards of care, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of
service delivery.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits to enhance patient care
outcomes and safety standards.
10. Professional Development:
Stay updated with advances in medical knowledge, technologies, and best practices through
continuous learning and professional development activities.
Engage in ongoing training and skill enhancement opportunities to maintain competency
and excellence in medical practice.
Requirements:
MBBS Graduation: Completion of Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a
recognized medical institution.
Medical Registration: Valid registration with the relevant medical council/board to practice
medicine in the jurisdiction.
Clinical Experience: Prior experience in clinical practice, preferably in primary care or
general medicine settings.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact
effectively with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Emergency Management: Ability to remain calm and composed during medical emergencies
and provide timely and effective medical interventions.

Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards the
