Position: Finance Manager
Purpose of the Job: Ensure organizational Finance Management and practice in accordance with prevailing compliance norms and maintaining regular books of accounts systematically of project transactions.
Location: Dhenkanal, Odisha
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting.
Grant Management: Experience in managing donor funds and complying with donor regulations and
reporting requirements.
Audit and Compliance: Knowledge of financial audit processes and ability to ensure compliance with
organizational policies and procedures.
Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate financial risks associated with project implementation.
Presentation and Communication Skills: Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively
to internal and external stakeholders, including donors and project partners. Effective communication skills in
English are highly preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make informed
financial decisions.
Team Cohesion Abilities: Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and provide financial guidance and
support to ensure project success.
Experience:
Total work experience more than 5+ Years.
5 years in Finance in Development roles desirable.
Experience in Fundraising for NGOs will be an added advantage.
Age: Less than 45 Years.
Skills & Knwledge:
Must Have
• Master degree in Finance or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role in
program management, preferably in the development sector
• Knowledge of Income tax laws related to TDS/ Returns
• Knowledge of GST laws related GST returns
Desirable
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing diverse teams and fostering
collaboration.
Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable
plans and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate
effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in resource mobilization, including grant writing, donor relations, and budget
management.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, monitoring and evaluation, and data-driven
decision-making.
• Familiarity with government programs and policies related to rural development and community
empowerment.
• Commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for driving positive change in
rural communities.
Salaries Offered: Approximately, the monthly salary range is between 42-45K, depending on your experience and skills.
