Individual Consultant: State Consultant to provide technical support on Social & Behaviour Change programming for RMNCAH+N with focus on supporting CSO partners for community mobilization to strengthen Routine Immunization and reduce Zero Dose Children

Duty Station: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Individuals engaged under a consultancy will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants. Consultants are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.

The selected candidate is expected to submit the proposal under the following head:

A. Technical Evaluation (maximum 80 Points) 

B. Financial Proposal (maximum of 20 Points)

Phase 1 – shortlisting candidates for interview

Phase 2 – Qualifying candidates technically, based on the overall scores

The financial proposals of only those candidates, who are found technically qualified / responsive, will be opened.

MSW, Postgraduate in Sociology and Post Graduate in Mass communication (10)

Postgraduate in any other stream (9

Relevant Experience

Minimum 5 years work experience of Social and Behaviour Change communication or Health promotion interventions at state level (20)

Minimum 5 years experience in other social development field (15)

Phase1. Scores to shortlist for Interview

Interview (VC/ personal /Telephone)

Phase 2. Scores to qualify for Technical Evaluation

Minimum qualifying marks for the Technical Proposal will be 64 i.e. 80% of the total score.

B. Financial Proposal (maximum of 20 Points)

The financial proposals of only those candidates, who are found technically qualified / responsive, will be opened.

Important Note: Please do not indicate financials anywhere else in any of the other documents. 

Any attempt to unduly influence UNICEF’s selection process will lead to automatic disqualification of the applicant. 

Joint applications of two or more individuals are not accepted.
