Post: Project Coordinator – Clinical Psychologist
Basic qualification:
• MA Psychologist with RCI Certificate.
• 5+ years’ experience in the clinical, social , Development field
• Having a leadership oriented approach.
• Masters degree in social science / psychology / health science.
• Min. 5 years experience of work in NGO Projects management
• Experience with reporting requirements of NGOs, project management skills and tools, documentation and report writing
• Must have excellent organizational, time management, presentational, communication and writing skills;
• Working knowledge of legal frames, contracts, budgets, etc.
• Competency in software applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• The applicant must be fluent in English. Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi.
• Team work and co ordination skills across internal teams and external service providers
• Good communication skills, being co-operative, being able to work independently and being a team player are most desired qualities.
Job Description:
• Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate clients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning
• Diagnosing mental health disorders based on assessment findings and DSM-5 criteria
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs and goals
• Monitoring clients' progress throughout the course of treatment and adjusting interventions as needed.
• Collaborating with social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients with complex needs
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards
• Participating in ongoing professional development activities, such as continuing education seminars and peer supervision
• Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical programs and initiatives within the organization
• Overall supervision of service sites including in the mental hospital. Comfort to work in community.
• Able to do individual and group sessions, able to do confrontation meetings at field where necessary.
• Able to set up community supports for mental hospital clients. Able to monitor quality work standards, provide feedback and trainings where necessary to ensure this.
• Handling reports, monitoring finances across sites supervised. Working with the PMC, MH system and legal aid system.
