Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a candidate who will offer analytic support for various research projects utilising data collected at Indian Cancer Society.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

• To plan and develop research studies based on the available data

• Extracting, managing, monitoring the progress of the study

• Maintain documentation and databases

• Analysing, interpreting, reporting study findings

• Review of output for consistency and quality control.

• Presentation of information in tabular and graphical formats

• Interpretation of study results

• Writing abstracts and manuscripts

• Follow the latest research methodology, statistical software packages, best practices and regulations pertaining to research and cancer epidemiology

Required Qualification:

• Knowledge of research, data analysis and literature review

• Writing and documentation skills

• Experience in statistical software’s (SPSS, STATA, R, SQL, etc)

Preferred Qualification:

• Graduate in Public Health /social sciences

• One or two years’ experience in healthcare and cancer surveillance data

• Strong team player
