Job Title: Sr. M&E Associate
Place:Mumbai
Reports to: Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Summary
Across our programmatic teams, we prioritize efforts that will expand our impact. Major ongoing activities include continuing excellence in providing Emergency Response to affected areas, enduring to respond efficiently and effectively, and converging the growth of program strategies. Multiple Programs ensure to build a pool of accessible services in the community through Urban Health Strategy, school health programs, upgradation of health and wellness partnering with local health centers delivering high-quality clinical services and programming, and Antimicrobial stewardship. In addition to these critical ongoing activities, our programmatic work focus on:
Expanding our health services programming through MHCs, with a notable focus on non-communicable diseases, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), and enhanced prevention activities.
Improving long-term results and sustainability of our school health program with multi-year programmatic, funding, and administrative support. Schools offer extraordinary settings to influence the choices of young people and encourage healthy behaviors among them.
Establishment of Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs) for providing comprehensive primary care, with an extended range of services, that aims to make advanced healthcare accessible and affordable.
Job Description of the Position
Main areas of responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Data quality assessment, data audits, Compiling, verifying the accuracy, sorting, and analyzing data to make meaningful output
Ensure timely submission of data requirements and narrative summary for donor reporting.
Advanced analyses of data to provide information on achievements against targets, data trends, etc. which will help in decision-making for programs.
Plan and execute various research projects to provide inputs for program implementation strategy and to showcase program impact. (Assessments, Baselines, endline, satisfaction surveys etc.)
Monitoring visits to all other programs including school health program, health and wellness center, Uday project, etc. for at least 2 days a week.
Co-ordinate with program staff in case of errors, data entry issues, application update, and technical support.
Conducting training on applications, addressing issues faced by staff and other users, and providing support.
To develop monitoring formats for the activity conducted across Mumbai and support ICN for data mapping of IPC intervention.
Designing and conducting research, paper publication, and data analysis using various statistical methods.
Any other task assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Required Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
A Masters degree in statistics/health management is preferable
Science or Commerce graduate
Must Have Skills
Research designing and statistical analysis knowledge is a must.
Proficient in Excel, data management, and data analysis
Must have basic proficiency in English and good at Hindi and Marathi.
Willing to travel for monitoring visits.
Desirable Skills
The ability to manage and process high volumes of data accurately.
Good understanding of databases and digital and paper filing systems.
Proficiency in data capturing and office management software such as MS Office, Google Suite etc.
Typing speed and accuracy
Familiarity with administrative duties
Time management and multitasking abilities.
Should be a good team player
Confident and able to work on own initiative. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in support of and collaboratively with a range of people at all levels
