Social work Age Limit : Below 30 Years at the time of the Application.

About the Organization:
ANIMEDH CHARITABLE TRUST (ACT) is a non-profit organization registered under Bombay Public Charitable Trust Act in year 2012. ACT aims to empower under-privileged women by imparting life skills, providing vocational training, and facilitating earning opportunities, Promote
basic and higher education and WASH Awareness for underprivileged Women, Girls and Children. In today’s era one of the major scopes of intervention in larger context of with Women Empowerment is to intervene on the problems and resulting impact of limited access to safe drinking water and sanitation. Poor access to WASH facilities and services are adversely affecting different dimensions of life of the Women from Rural areas i.e. health, Education, Livelihood, Personal safety, personal and family level economic equations. One of the most important reasons for low access to WASH is a general lack of awareness about
the adverse effects of poor sanitation practices or consumption of unsafe drinking water. The fact that approximately 637 million out of 768 million people without access to an improved source of
water in rural areas reinforces the need to build awareness in rural areas.
The project envisages spreading awareness about adverse effects of poor sanitation and strategies and existing facilities to improve access to WASH services and practices. This will enable the targeted segment in order to reduce their cost burden on WASH facilities and allowing them to increase their savings. To reduce the time spent in collection of water, to provide safe drinking water and thereby, significantly reduce their exposure to hygiene related illnesses. To enable improved living standards by freeing up time that can be invested in productive and income generating activities.
Animedh Charitable Trust is an Implementation partner of Water.org in order to implement and execute theProject ‘WASH AwarenessProgram’to bring the change in the community and achieve the Program Goals.

Job Description: Project Coordinator, WASH Awareness

Program Project specific duties and responsibilities
Animedh Charitable Trust is looking forward to appoint the dynamic, self-driven Project Coordinators across the above mentioned locations those who need to extensively travel across the location within the appointed State. The following are the indicative broad

Duties and responsibilities of Project Coordinator:

Project Coordinator, WASH Awareness Program. The candidate must fulfill all the requirement of Skills, Education,

Qualification, Leadership, and functional skills but should not limit to.
• Contribution to Conduct / Organize Training of Trainers (TOTs) for WASH awareness.
• Conducting meetings with Community People / Loan clients / Stakeholder to promote the Project.
• Conduct WASH Education and Awareness activities and campaigns in Local community and region.
• Ensuring WASH credit (Loan) needs generation from Awareness activity and campaign.
• Conducting Activities and Campaigns for School going children in Schools and in communities.
• Plan and execute Media campaign-Street play, innovative health games, Outdoor hoardings, Miniature models & small scale local exhibitions on WASH.
• Supervision, Monitoring & Evaluation of the Loan Needs generation, track Loan application and disbursal, Monitoring of WASH construction progress at house hold level. Monitoring to Complete Loan application to End-Use process of WASH infrastructure.
• This Position requires extensive travelling within the State / Block, the candidate must be willing to travel for all the project related travel, Meetings and Trainings.
• Attending Review meetings Monthly & Quarterly.
• Project Planning, Supervision, Monitoring & Documentation & Reporting with Photos, Videos & Written reports. Overall Skills & Desired Abilities and Desirables:
• Candidate must be a local from above mentioned states will be given preference.
• Knowledge of Local Language is a must.
• Self driven self motivated shall be able to Plan the project activities with Project overall Coordination (Monitoring Schedules, Deadlines, Budgets and expenditure)
• Liaoning, Communication and Networking with various stakeholder externally and internally on Project particulars
• Excellent communication, Presentation and convincing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate in both English and local language from above mentioned states.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work well with those from various
backgrounds and cultures and Local community people.
• Experience of Rural banking, Micro Finance, WASH education & Training, Retail banking, experience of Sales of banking products will be an advantage.
• Ability to organize & manage campaigns, events, meetings, Community outreach and small programs for WASH Awareness.

Interpersonal, Liaisoning and Networking skills.
: Computers Skills, Ability to use smart phones / Tablets
: Well Verse with basic MS Office software, Data entry, Data handling and
reporting.
• Travelling : This Position requires extensive travelling within the State / Block, the
candidate must be willing to travel to remote villages for all the project related
travel, Meetings and Trainings. 100% Field Work.
• Experience : 1 to 3 Years of experience in working in rural setting with following work sector.
• Social Work, Rural Development, Community Development
• WASH Awareness & Sensitization
• Training and Development
• Microfinance & Micro enterprises
• Rural banking, Retail banking, Marketing and Sales.
Salary : 22 to 25 K Depends on Interview
