• The Outreach worker (ORW) should be a male candidate educated minimum to the 12th standard qualified . Should be proficient with computers and smart phone application .
• Should have a strong communication skill and ability to work in small teams and flexible ways of working .
• Proficiency in data analysis , report writing and case studies compilation and capacity to monitor report and guide the team under him.
• The Outreach worker will be responsible for overall planning of service delivery at the field .
• With the peer educators ORW has to plan counselling session , clinic service by visiting physician and networking advocacy with stakeholders
• Support the peer educators and facilitate their work for efficient and effective coverage of High Risk Groups mainly the Injecting Drug Users .
• Maintenance of records of the Outreach team and report to the Project Manager .
• Rapport building with the target population ( Injecting Drug Users ) and mobilise them for availing necessary services .
• The ORW will be responsible for preparing micro plans for each hotspots and monitor the implementation of the plan and review the plan .
• Prepare monthly action plan for each hotspot , ensure supply of needle syringe , condom and BCC materials at each spot.
• The ORW will be in charge of outreach and supportive supervision of the Peer educators
• Should ensure atleast 20days of field visit in a month to assigned areas and nearest service providers like ICTC , ART centre , STI centres etc where referrals are made .
• Should ensure weekly peer diaries are maintained , monthly report collection from the peers and submission of own report to the Project Manager
• The ORW should be in charge of stakeholder management to discuss and rope in their support for smooth implementation of the project .
• Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment specially knowledge of Harm reduction strategy .
• The ORW will report to the Project manager.
