Aim of the Job
He/She will be responsible for counselling & mobilizing the students who are interested to take up the career in different skill sectors.

Position Title: Mobilizer (Skill Training)

Duties & Responsibilities
• Knowledge about the different skill development initiatives and candidates
• Establish network of institutes, organizations and individuals to enroll students for the offered courses.
• Mobilizing and counselling the students for various Govt. skill development programs.
• Prepare mobilization plan and ensure timely execution in-line with operation of the Skill Training center.
• Ensure mobilization targets are met in given timeline
• New initiatives for finding ways for Mass mobilization.
• Collecting and maintaining the database of the students.
• Frequent follow-up with students and parents.
• Check the eligibility of candidates as per policy of DDU-GKY, TNSRLM,TNULM,JSS etc.,
• Follow the complete process of collecting the Documents, checking for eligibility as per DDU-GKY, TNSRLM,TNULM,JSS etc., Policy & submitting the same at training Center.
• He should ensure that mobilized students attend the training program as per the timeline communicated by DDU-GKY, TNSRLM,TNULM,JSS etc.,
• Ensure that participants are regular in course and in discipline, In case of drop out need to follow with candidate for the same.
• Share the Daily Activity Report
• Good communication skills, presentation skill.

Qualification & Experience:-

Educational Qualifications

Masters in social work/ Rural Management or human development from a recognized Universities or any Arts Degree(Preferably BSW, BSc(RDS)

Experience:
? Having worked in and Skill Projects implementation or NGO work experience background for min 1 year.
? Flair to work in Skill Development sector
? Work on target and reach the desired targets on time
? Able to mobilize students from urban and rural areas.
? Computer skills mainly MS Office.
