Job Title: Project Coordinator

Job Type: Contractual ( 1 year)

Job Location: Noida

Project Summary:

Transform Collective is a consortium consisting of seven partner organizations committed to advocating and actualizing family-based care as the foundation of child protection. The collective is a multi-year project funded by UBS Optimus Foundation, undertaking both implementation and knowledge generation in the area. Sambodhi is the MEL partner of Transform Collective and has designed their theory of change, aggregate results framework, data collection tools and performance management dashboard. In the next phase of the project, we will deploy this MEL system and support partners in the process over the next three years.

Job Summary:
Sambodhi Research and Communications Private Limited is looking for a social research professional to manage research, monitoring and evaluation project in the child protection space. Your work requires strong research understanding, including research and evaluation designs and methodologies, interviewing techniques and qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. You are expected to stay abreast of the global peer- reviewed literature and be knowledgeable about cutting-edge theories and methods of M&E.

Essential Functions

These are the following roles and responsibilities:

• Design research, monitoring and research methodologies and work plans for project execution
• Design research tools for data collection using mixed methods approaches
• Execute projects/assessment along with the team of enumerators including capacity building of the team for project execution
• Conduct key informants interviews/focus groups/workshops with key respondents
• Liaison with partner organizations, subject matter experts and other relevant agencies
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis with primary and secondary data
• Assist/Lead the project team in the development of reports, presentations, and other communication materials including drafting, editing, data analysis, and presentation.
• Make and deliver presentations of reports/proposals to clients/potential clients

Desired Profile
• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, PhD is a plus
• 5-8 years of work experience in research, monitoring, and evaluation
• Experience on contemporary methodologies and practices, with hands-on experience in writing and publications.
• Experience of working in the social and development research in management of large-scale surveys is desired.

Personal Competencies
• In-depth knowledge of Research, Evaluation, Data Analysis & thematic understanding of various sectors in the social & development domain.
• Must have worked in thematic area of Child Protection
• Fluency with both quantitative and qualitative research
• Professional fluency in oral and written English
• Working knowledge of MS office, STATA, or other statistical packages for data analysis
• Enthusiastic about writing and creative visualization.
• Willingness to travel to program areas in Maharashtra
