Type of Position: Full-time
Days and Timings: Monday to Saturday- 8:30am to 4:30 pm (Alternate Saturdays Off)
About Us:
A registered Trust, Ek Tara began its journey in 2011 with a small group of marginalised children and women in the slums of Topsia and Tiljala with a vision to provide high-quality holistic education and livelihood skills to enable positive community transformation. The Ek Tara Learning Centre runs academic, co-curricular and parental engagement activities for closeto 950 children. We also are working with KMC schools to create model learning environments.
General Description:
Understanding of various education models. Ability of building team strategies and conflict resolution. Collaborate with various internal teams and external organizations. Plan and conduct educational training. Curate learning experiences for learners and trainers alike.
Work Experience Requirements:
Worked in a teacher for 2-3 years.
Worked with curriculum work for 2+ years.
Education Requirements:
Graduate in any field (B.Ed prefered)

Creation and refining of curriculum
Ek Tara Learning Centre
Introduction and review of new programs
Regular review meetings with ELC team
Ek Tara Resource Centre - KMC and other partnership programs
Creation and refining of curriculum
Planning of kits, module and trainings
Selection, orientation and trainings of facilitators
Record book
Review of various record log books by the program assistant (Academic) - ELC
Teacher/facilitator coaching and pedagogical training for all curriculum
Planning of student mentorship programs
Accountability and review of clubs -

Elocution
Expressions
ICT
Core subject teams/departments
Orientation and curation for subject level activities
Library and others
Collaboration with library team to curate books
Teacher training and accountability on library space usage
Interdisciplinary Sessions

Collaboration and implementation with external organization (eg. CSPathshala, We Can, BYJU’s, etc.)
Plan out teachers’ and students’ MUN

Renumeration: 3.6 - 4.2 L per annum
