• Responsible for implementation of project interventions as planned and achievement of its results at 4 CoEs and 8 iToTs.  
• Provide technical support to CoEs and iToTs on all the agreed vocational training requirements. 
• Provide support to Hub through establishing industry linkages.
• Supervise development and implementation of project plans and activities in close coordination with Team Leader and all stakeholders. 
• Develop strategies and technical concepts including guidelines, manuals, and procedures, which are ready to be applied in the project. 
• Involve in planning and establishment of training labs which includes lab design, equipment, electrical connections, networking drawings and furniture required etc. 
• Participate in identifying needs for external support and advice, elaborates on policy recommendations and develops a strategic approach.
• Assist in defining terms of reference, selection, and supervision of contracted short-term experts in various VET specialized areas identified along with the MSDC and Team Leader.
• Identification and organisation of support from external national and international experts in field of training courses and further development of existing courses. 
• Support short-term consultants and experts of the project to fulfil their tasks during their assignment.
• Implement the project activities in conformity with GIZ InS policies and procedures and programming guidelines.
•  Guide and advise the project personnel in designing and implementing project interventions 
• Support public relations activities for the project/program. 
• Conceptualise, prepare and implement workshops, seminars, and other events on subjects that are related to the project’s field of activities.
• Develop and organize quality assurance and proposes necessary changes, improvements, and initiatives.
• Compile an overview of project activities, deadlines etc. and present it regularly in steering committee meetings.
• Follow up the project monitoring system, update information concerning the progress of the project, periodically document and report the results of the activities.
• Assist in the recording and writing of results in each activity undertaken.
• Prepare, organise and conduct training of ITI trainers in house and at other identified locations across state of Gujarat.
• Organizes and maintains the project documentation and filing system.

• Assist international experts as a translator, if and when needed.
• Assist in and/or carries out other project activities and tasks, as assigned by the TL.
• Undertake further job training related to his/her position and duties. Specific training needs shall be identified, and appropriate programmes selected jointly with the project Team Leader.

• Minimum Graduate in Electrical, Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, preferably with master’s degree in engineering/Management.
• Minimum of 8 years of general professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in the implementation of TVET projects financed by bilateral or multilateral international development partners.
• Minimum of 2 years working in international development context and/or in developing countries, ideally in South Asia and/or India.
• Specialized knowledge of administration of ITI´s as well as procurement, installation & commissioning.
• Experience in planning, organising, and conduct of Training of Trainers Programmes.
• Ability to design competency-based curriculums and to identify training needs.
• Extensive professional experience in the areas of skill assessment and quality systems.
• Experience of drafting Standards of Procedure (SoPs) and other required documents for the operation of training centres.
• Experienced in comprehensive academic framework development.
