Environmental Grants Writer (Partnership Development)

About the Organization:
Humana People to People India (HPPI) is a development organization registered as a not for profit company under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 since 21st May 1998. HPPI works in India across 14 States in 109 Districts, running 100+ project units funded by international & national funding agencies as well as public & private partners reaching annually about to 2.8 million people. The organization works in four areas: Education, Livelihood & Community Development, Health, and Environment Sustainability.

We are at present having a vacancy for a partnership development for Environmental Projects – climate change, recycling, renewable energy and community development.

Job Title : Proposal Writer

Job Location: New Delhi

We are looking for:
• A Team player able to produce high quality grant proposals.
• A hard-working and systematic person, able to think outside the box.
• A person with excellent writing skills, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• A colleague interested in working individually and in a team with complex proposal formats, log-frames and budgets while keeping a positive approach.

Experience
• 5-8 years

Qualification
• A Master’s Degree in rural development, Environmental Management/Sciences, or other relevant subjects

Job responsibilities:
• Deliver high quality proposals to national and international, private and public partners
• Develop relevant experience papers, statements, LOG frames and other needed documents for proposals.
• Develop top quality pitch decks and PowerPoint presentations.
• Undertake research for internal and external use.
• Follow up meetings with partners and other relevant players.

Skills
• Excellent English writing skills
• Interest and skills within climate change, recycling, renewable energy or agriculture
• Budgeting and financial skills
