Digital Marketing Manager
 
Location: Candidate to be based out from Mastichak, or can work in hybrid mode (Candidate to work from Mastichak for 10-15 days in a month)
 
Job Brief:
If you have more than 5 years of experience in Digital marketing with core competency in Search Engine Marketing (SEO), we would like to talk to you. We are looking for an individual who can align and coordinate with the existing marketing team, support teams and vendors to execute digital marketing activities. The candidate’s central goal will be to grow brand’s presence on the Google Search Market (through SEO) to increase organic traffic to the website with relevant and targeted keywords. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop and implement successful and effective short-term and long-term SEO strategy
  • SEO competitor analysis – dig into competitors’ keyword rankings, contents, backlink profiles, evaluate keyword difficulty, new keyword opportunities, examining site structure, discovering competitor’s winning strategies (regarding organic penetration),
  • Conduct keyword research to identify the right set of keywords
  • Keywords to page assignment – choosing the right set of keywords for pages to be targeted
  • SEO audit of the website, present ranking status and organic traffic to bring in new rankings and improve existing ranking of the pages with targeted keywords
  • Review technical SEO issues on the website and recommend fixes such as crawl errors, coverage issues, URL redirects, page experience, core web vitals, sitemap.xml, broken links, https issues, page loading issues, etc.
  • Optimize web page contents to drive SEO value
  • Plan and implement on-page activities to make the website more SEO friendly and improve rankings on Google.
  • Plan and execute off-page activities such as link building (generating do-follow backlinks), content marketing, guest blogging, participating in forums, answering on Q&A platforms such as Quora, etc.
  • Develop and implement content marketing strategies to drive SEO values and increase traffic to the website
  • Monitoring the website improvement, rankings, organic and referral traffic to the website.
  • Google local business management – creating, updating and maintaining business profiles for our centres (hospitals and clinics) on Google business and optimising the local listings for better rankings.
  • Leverage analytical tools to monitor and gauge the success of metrics such as crawl rate, indexation, SERP rankings for targeted keywords, organic traffic to the site, click rate, bounce rate, no. of back links and other KPIs.
  • Preparing reports regularly - collecting data and reporting on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
  • Plan, develop and implement/ update contents, blog posts on the website to drive SEO value for the site.
  • Apply schema markup to generate enhanced rich snippet for Blog posts or other pages on the site.
 
Other Responsibilities:
  • Reputation Management – regularly responding to reviews on Google, answering to Google questions, etc.
  • Oversee and execute organic social media activities, such as creating monthly calendars, posting daily updates to bring in organic engagement and conversions from social media
  • Increase brand followers organically on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
  • Building, nurturing and participating in online/ web communities, forums and groups to increase brand’s presence.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner
  • Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media profiles of the business
Desired Requirements & Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing with core competency in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field. Executive or Certification programme in Digital marketing will be an added advantage
  • Excellent command of the English language (Spoken and Written)
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Good at absorbing large amounts of information, with a general hunger for learning
  • Credible, confident, and articulate, with good communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO practices, web analytics with excellent analytical abilities
  • Proficient with Technical SEO, Content Marketing and Search Marketing techniques
  • Familiarity with digital and SEO analytical tools such as SEMRush, SEO Moz, Google Keyword planner, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Dreamhost SEO toolkit, Google alert, Google Tag Manager, Google Adwords, etc.
  • Familiarity and knowledge in basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices
  • Experience and knowledge of CMS such as Wordpress, customized website backends, blog management applications, etc.
  • Knowledge of Social Media Marketing, social media tools such as Facebook studio, Facebook suite, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Knowledge in PPC (Google Display and Search ads), In-app marketing, app store optimization, etc. will be an advantage.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. In-depth knowledge in Microsoft Excel is a must.
  • Always focused on the end goal of business growth and revenue creation
