Job Description

Job Description/Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations
2. Accounting and filing of statutory compliances i.e. GST and managing the GST related work
3. To look after compliances and data preparation for GST, Provident Fund, Professional Tax and TDS
4. Responsible for internal and external reporting deadlines- preparing donor reports highlighting the financial situation in a timely manner.
5. Support project staff to financial transition to implementation of project activities as per project requirements.
6. Responsible for other duties from time to time as may be required by the project.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s in commerce (Master preferred).
2. Having working knowledge of GST, PF, TDS and Professional Tax
3. Good academic records
4. Having knowledge of office procedures, strong organizational skills with problem solving attitude
5. Experience with tracking expenses and maintaining accounts and budgets
6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
7. Ability to work to meet the deadlines
8. Proficiency in Tally, MS Office (MS word, Excel), TDS software and the PowerPoint

Experience:

1. Atleast 2-3 years of experience in handling accounts and GST work
