About the Organisation - Anchored in the north Bihar district of Muzaffarpur, KanchanSeva Ashram, a non-government organization set up in 1994 has catalyzed remarkable changes in the lives countless people particularly rural & urban women, Rural health worker like ASHAs, AWWs, marginalize community, Farmers & youth.
Today KSA stands tall as the foremost NGO in the district, having spearheaded action programmes in education, healthcare, micro-finance, environmental protection and rehabilitation. Encouraged by the results, organization has broadened its reach to cover the district of Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Sheohar, Samastipur, Saran, East champaran & Begusarai.
Yet, in the midst of the outstanding achievement, former KSA Secretary, Mr. Vijay Kumar, recalls the key challenges the organization encountered in its initial years. In 1994 with a mere Rs. 6,000/- in hand but the nineteen initial members manfully encountered every challenge, be it in terms of financial resources or delivery capabilities. What’s more, the headcount continues to rise as KSA enhances its geographical and sectoral presence.

Project Coordinator: Project Coordinator is responsible to implement all project activities provisioned in project documents. He/she is also responsible to ensure quality of work and maximum participation of beneficiaries in the project activities. His/her academic qualification must be at least certificate level including at least 3 years of intensive working experience in the related field or bachelor level in any fields with keen interest to work in community development sector.



Key roles and responsibilities of Project Coordinator are to:

Prepare annual Project Implementation Plan (PIP), annual cash flow, quarterly and monthly work plan;
Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly progress reports;
Organize monthly staff meetings, review the progress and assist to manage issues arising during the implementation;
Organize and manage various group level capacity building activities at beneficiaries level, e.g. Cornerstones, SHG Management, Gender and Justice, IAM, Fodder and Forage, Kitchen Garden, etc.;
Document project highlights, best practices, case studies, story and lessons learned during the implementation of project;
Coordinate and manage different project related committees, SHGs, Cooperatives, and project stakeholders;
Provide technical support, coaching, guidance to project staffs and supervise, monitor and evaluate their work;
Establish good coordination, network and linkage with project stakeholders for effective implementation of project;
Coordinate activities related to different types of community fund management like POG, revolving, assets security, etc.;
Facilitate project team and original groups for adequate capacity buildings of POG groups;
Supervise and monitor the project activities performed by staffs, CAVEs and groups.

Qualification -

1. Candidate must be a graduate of any subject.
2. Minimum three years experience in NGO sector.
3. Who have three years experience in the field of social service in agriculture and animal husbandry based livelihood promotion with women including community based organization building and strengthen.
