Aide et Action (India) is a not-for-profit organization working in the field of education. It was registered in India as a Not-for-Profit entity under Sec 25/8 of Indian Companies Act 1956 on 9th May 1988 in Chennai. Aide et Action manages its operations across India through Regional Offices in Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Patna.

The following requirement is for the Chennai Regional Office. The operations that are spread across the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Kerala are managed through this office.

Job Profile:
In the designated position, the incumbent will be responsible for
Organizational Image Building: Represent the organisation in the processes of Networking, media relations, identification of partners, meetings with external stake holders, campaigning & event management, stake holders’ relationship building.
Programme Development and Management: Support the programme in terms of negotiation, planning, designing, implementation, monitoring, review, appraisal, budgets, fund management, resource management, documentation, fund raising, networking, partnership, identifying new opportunities, communication, public relations.
Sponsorship Management: Support the project team in adhering to all Sponsorship compliances; Highlight the value added by sponsorship in the learning process among children, Use sponsorship communication as a tool for continuous project monitoring.
Financial management:Support the annual budget process in the region in terms of inputs about the projects, Anchor the CoO process in the projects, Compliance of audit observations in respect of projects.
Human Resource Development: Team building, Project staff Recruitment, Selection, Appointments, Induction, Capacity Building, Training, Performance Appraisals, Exit Interviews, Grievance Resolution, Approval of leave of project staff and dissemination.
JOB CHARACTERISTICS: Organization and domain knowledge Communication, Interpersonal, teamwork, analytical, mobility, time-management, observation, documentation, innovation, public relation, basic finance and account, computing, local language, negotiating and leadership skills.
Candidate Specification:
- Incumbent should be a Post Graduate in Social Work/ Development Studies or any other relevant field with around two to five years of work experience in the development sector especially at the grass root level project/s. Should possess good communication skills – verbal & written English communication;
- Should possess skills in documentation, report /proposal writing;
- Incumbent should be prepared to travel and stay in rural areas as per the organizational requirements.
Compensation Range:
Monthly gross of INR. 35,000 to 50,000 as per the compensation policy of Aide et Action.
