Who we are looking for: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team. In this role, you will have the responsibility to ideate and connect with industry experts, governmental, private, and non-governmental institutions to establish strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives that will promote the growth and development of bamboo-based Industry/enterprises in India.

Job Description:

• Develop strategies and campaigns to promote bamboo as a sustainable fuel source, emphasizing the benefits of direct burning of chips, bamboo cut pieces, pallets, and charcoal.

• Participate in meetings with the Executive Chairman/Representatives of India Bamboo Forum, ensuring active involvement and contribution to discussions. Follow up with concerned authorities and stakeholders regarding action items and decisions made during the meetings.

• Develop comprehensive proposals and case studies to promote bamboo as a fuel source through direct burning of chips, bamboo cut pieces, pallets, and charcoal.

• Be an advocate for the adoption of bamboo-based solutions, particularly reclamation of mines by highlighting the environmental benefits and cost-effectiveness of through bamboo plantation.

• Engage with industry associations and government agencies to showcase the advantages and feasibility of using bamboo as a fuel.

• Plan, organize, and conduct seminars and workshops to raise awareness and knowledge about the potential of bamboo.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master's degree in Science, Economics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience of 7-8 years in program management, partnership development preferably in the environmental or sustainability sector.

• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to take initiative and drive projects forward.

• Excellent networking, Liasioning and relationship-building skills to connect with government ministries and industry associations like CII, FICCI.

• Effective communication skills, including excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.

Remuneration: Rs 10-12 Lacs per annum.
