Job Title: Grant Writer

Salary: 40,000 to 55,000

 

Job Overview:

A Grant Writer is responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to funding organisations and foundations to secure funding for various projects and programs from UK. The Grant Writer works closely with the organisation's leadership team to identify potential funding sources and to develop strategies for securing grants from UK.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on funding opportunities, potential donors, and other grant-making organisations

• Write grant proposals, including budgets, program narratives, and other required documents

• Submit grant proposals to funding organisations and foundations on time based in UK

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant proposals, submissions, and outcomes

• Work with program staff to develop proposals that align with the organisation's goals and objectives

• Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and regulations

• Develop and maintain relationships with potential funders and other stakeholders

• Write reports and updates for funders on the progress and outcomes of funded programs

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in grant writing or related field

• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills

• Ability to write clear and compelling grant proposals for UK

• Familiarity with UK grant application processes and requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software programs

• Understanding of nonprofit organisations and fundraising strategies

 

Working Conditions:

• Grant Writers typically works in an office environment, although remote work may be possible. They may need to work irregular hours to meet deadlines and attend meetings or events outside of regular business hours. Grant Writers may need to travel to meet with potential funders or attend conferences or events.
