PSI INDIA is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization dedicated to improve life for SARITA in India, particularly the improvement of reproductive and sexual health, improved services for the health of mothers and children, sustainable sanitation solutions for cities and slums. PSI was incorporated in 1980 under the India Societies Act of 1860 and began implementing full-scale activities in 1988. Over the past thirty-three years, PSI India has collaborated with the Government of India and a number of donors to implement various programs towards increasing the use of modern contraception for family planning, to provide products and services for the health of mothers and children and to decrease the spread of HIV/AIDS and TB. Purpose of the Position:

An experienced professional working in the area of family planning and urban health to manage, coach and guide more than one city government health officials and urban stakeholders to drive the program and ensure achievements both in qualitative and quantitative aspects in the assigned cities and undertake extensive on-ground program activities.

A. Responsibilities:
• Strengthen FP and Urban Health system in the assigned TCI cities
• Ensure close monitoring of planned FDS at all urban primary centres, Civil and district hospital by CMHO and other key Nodal officers
• Prepare and share Facility wise, month wise uptake of services including detailed analysis of method wise uptake of FP service from HMIS and ensure traversing of programmatic FP gaps of the assigned cities
• Facilitate in development of Master coaches within Health Department for coaching and mentoring support on Family planning at all levels and their meetings on regular intervals
• Conduct UHCCC meetings on quarterly basis to strengthen FP services and Urban Health systems
• Form and strengthen Data Validation Committee at facility and city level to review and ensure timeliness and accuracy of reports of HMIS and other portals
• Responsible for integration and prioritisation of FP services in newly operational U-
HWCs
• Coordinate with Health department for operationalisation of proven high impact intervention on Family planning and Urban Health
• Plan and review with Family Planning Nodal Officer, Urban health Coordinator/ Manager and other Key Officials regarding uptake of FP Services- Facility wise and method wise using HMIS and FPLMIS
• In Close coordination with Health Department, ensure operationalisation of self- monitoring tool on FP at facility/ City level and ensure traversing of programmatic gaps.
• Support all Quality Initiatives of health department (Kayakalp/ NQAS/ DQAC)
• Facilitate, in Coordination with city health officials, formation/ regular meetings of Jan Aayogya Samitis (JAS)
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

B. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Post-Graduate in Business Management, Social Sciences, Rural Management or related fields with 5-8 years of experience in leading and managing field operations at the district level
• At least 3-4 years of experience and demonstrated ability to manage family planning projects/ urban projects

C. SKILLS:
• Leadership ability, including the capacity to set and manage accountability of self and others.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing in English and Hindi and to make effective presentations to the communication team.
