Position                   :  Research Officers

Location                   :  Bihar

AMS (www.amsindia.org) is offering research-based consulting services to various Govt. departments and international agencies (World Bank, ADB, JICA, Unicef, UNDP, etc.). Our major areas of work include Rural Development, Skill Development, Public Health, Nutrition, Women & Child Development and Education. 

AMS is conducting a study to analyse the various employment avenues available for the youth of Bihar. As part of this study, we plan to seek suggestions from the District-Level Senior Government Officials (Deputy Commissioners and other Senior Officers) on how to link the unemployed youths with the various employment opportunities available for them. For smooth execution of this study, we urgently require: 

Research Officers (2 Positions) 

Job Responsibility

To meet and conduct in-depth interviews / discussions with the DCs and other Senior Officials in all the 38 districts

To seek suggestions from them to tackle the problem of youth unemployment in Bihar

To discuss on creating training programs for educated unemployed youths for up-gradation of their skills 

Eligibility

PG in any discipline; preferably in Social Sciences / Economics / Statistics, etc.

Candidates should have prior experience of interacting with Senior Govt. Officials in Bihar

Remuneration: Honorarium Rs. 60,000/- per month, plus TA/DA as per company norms. 

Appointment

Contractual appointment for the project duration (expected to be around 2 months). This duration may be extended or reduced as per the performance of the candidate and need of the organization.
