CENTRE FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND ACTIVITIES (CYDA) Centre for Youth Development and Activities (CYDA) is a voluntary organization registered under Society Registration Act 1860 in the year 1999. CYDA works with young people between 13 to 29 years to empower them and they in turn contribute towards improving the lives of marginalized in society, especially adopting a rights-based approach.

The underlying premise on which CYDA works in the belief that ‘youth’ is a potential force, who if mobilized and channelized in the right manner and invested in, could serve as agents of social change and transformation.

Position: MIS Manager

Reporting line: Executive Director

Place of Posting: Pune Maharashtra.

Role and Responsibilities of MIS Manager: -

1. System Management:

• Oversee the organization's management information systems planning, implementation, and maintenance.

• Ensure hardware, software, networks, and databases are effectively functioning.

• Manage the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of information systems.

2. Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including systems administrators, database administrators, and support staff.

• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.

• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

3. Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with top management to align IT strategies with overall organizational goals.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for information systems that support business objectives.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to recommend relevant technologies.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's data and information assets.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

5. Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

• Evaluate and recommend technology investments based on organizational priorities.

6. Project Management:

• Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

• Coordinate with various departments to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

QUALIFICATION: REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Master’s degree in agriculture/ PGD in Rural Mgt. /Rural Development/ MA in Social Work/ from a recognized Institution / University

• In-depth knowledge of agriculture and holistic rural development Programmes (WASH & Sanitation)

• Experience in agriculture and rural development sector

• Professional knowledge of the English language with strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.

• Good knowledge of community-based organization

• Knowledge of Hindi and English is necessary.

• Proven experience in information systems management, with a successful project delivery track record.

• Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies.

EXPECTED OUTPUTS:

• Detailed work plan for project execution and a detailed set-up of the project monitoring system elaborated.

• Training workshops and seminars for stakeholders.

• Local rural development strategy is formulated.

• Action plan for the local rural development strategy elaborated.

• Information campaign developed.

• Back-to-office reports after each mission are prepared and submitted.
