Name of The Position – District Programme Head (1) (Immediate Joining)

Location – Patan, North Gujarat.

About Organization : Institute of Social Pragmatics (INSPRA) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 in 2010. INSPRA was founded by development professionals working in the social sector. Over the years INSPRA has implemented various development projects in collaboration and support from organizations like, Reliance Foundation, Tata Chemicals Society for Rural Development (TCSRD), Arvind Mill, Swasth Foundation, NABARD etc. INSPRA has earned proven experience of working with the issues of Agriculture, Rural Livelihood, Health, Education and Sanitation.

Position Overview : Currently INSPRA is implementing various programmes on Livelihood and Agriculture in the district of PATAN, north Gujarat. The position of DPH is responsible for overall implementation and monitoring of these all activities under these programmes. The DPH will lead the organization and establish as the key point person in the district. Person joining on immediate basis will be given preference.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project plans for livelihood, agriculture, dairy development, and handicrafts in the district.

• Monitor and report project progress to the senior management team.

• Ensure that projects are completed within the allocated budget and timeline.

• Maintain active coordination with funding agencies.

• Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.

• Work with stakeholders, including government officials, NGOs, and community groups, to ensure project success.

• Coordinate with other departments like HR, Finance, Quality Compliance etc within the organization to ensure that project activities are aligned with overall organizational goals and objectives.

• Ensure that project activities comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Identify and mitigate project risks.

• Manage project documentation and reporting.

• Train and supervise project staff.

• Ensure high-quality project delivery

Team Management:

• Facilitate recruitment process along with HR Team at local level.

• Train and support to the team members with compassion and sensitization.

• Monitor their daily affairs whether aligned to the projects’ planning.

• Enforce disciplinary policy on the team as and when required.

• Organize leave management of the team as per the policy of the organization.

• Visit team’s work locations and guide them as per the projects needs.

Project Compliance :

• Compile all field data and reports as per the clients/agencies requirements and send to agencies as per the timeline set.

• Manage procurement under project requirement as per the procurement policy of the organization.

• Depute and train the team on project monitoring and evaluation.

• Keep regular coordination with beneficiaries and end users of the project activities.

• Prepare case studies and unique examples achieved under the project implementation.

• Follow all the deadline decided/planned under the projects.

Education Qualification and Personal Qualities :

• MSW or Degree/Diploma in Entrepreneurship Development or MBA with first/second class.

• Minimum 5 Years of Experience in similar positions.

• Comfortable understanding, speaking and writing English, Hindi and Gujarati languages.

• Well versed with computer knowledge.

• Person living in Patan District will be an additional preference for this recruitment. However deserved candidates from outside the district will be considered eligible for this position.

• Writing skill in English and MS Office is must

Salary and Other Reimbursement :

Selected candidate will be paid Rs. 35000 to 45000 as monthly salary based on experiences and other qualities. The reimbursement of the travel and other expenses will be made as per the policy of the organization.
