Looking for a full-time Counsellor in GOA

We're seeking passionate individuals to fill the role of full time Counsellor for project on Mental health of children in Community, undertaken by Ahaan Foundation.

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

• Full time Masters in Clinical / Counselling Psychology

• Minimum 2 years of experience of counselling children having neurodevelopmental disorders

Desirable qualification:

• Understanding of neurodevelopmental disorder: identification, providing psycho –social support including psycho-education and counselling to parents /caregivers of children having neurodevelopmental disorder

• Knowledge conducting community mental health screening

Skills required:

• Ability to conduct training programs, community awareness programs, support groups

• Ability to converse in Hindi, Marathi, English (Konkani will be preferred)

Job description:

• Candidate will be requiring to conduct counselling sessions with parents, caregivers of children needing support.

• Monitoring follow ups of clients, maintaining data, records of sessions and related documentation.

• Conducting community awareness activities.

• Candidate will have to travel within Goa
