Job Title: NIOS & EI Special Educator

Position Summary:

We are in search of a knowledgeable, Experienced and committed NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the NIOS curriculum, assessment methods, and educational strategies tailored to diverse learners. As an NIOS Expert, you will be instrumental in developing and executing customized learning plans, providing guidance to educators, and ensuring the successful integration of NIOS programs and Early Intervention program within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the curriculum development team to adapt and customize NIOS curriculum materials to cater to the needs of diverse learners.

Educator Support: Provide training, guidance, and assistance to educators in effectively implementing NIOS curriculum and instructional strategies.

Individualized Learning Plans: Assess students' requirements and develop individualized learning plans based on NIOS guidelines, ensuring each student's academic success and personal development.

Assessment and Evaluation: Design and execute assessment strategies aligned with NIOS standards to gauge students' progress and learning outcomes.

Resource Development: Identify and develop supplementary resources, including digital tools, assistive technologies, and learning aids, to bolster NIOS instruction.

Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience for all students.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of NIOS guidelines, best practices, and emerging trends in inclusive education to continually enhance our programs and services.

Early Intervention Program Implementation: Assess the child’s current level and set a 3-month goal, while assisting educators in its implementation.

Parent Capacity Building: Conduct regular sessions to empower parents about their child’s needs.

Qualifications:

• Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Special Education in I.D/ Autism/ C.P.

• Certification or training in NIOS curriculum and instructional strategies.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with NIOS students.

• Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including learning disabilities, emotional/behavioural disorders, or developmental disabilities.

• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and IEP development processes.

• Strong understanding of various instructional strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations to meet the needs of students with disabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and fellow educators.

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Commitment to professional growth and a passion for advocating for students with special needs.

Working Location: KasturiNagar, Bangalore 560043

Working Days: Monday to Friday. All government holidays will be observed as leave.

Salary: 30,000 - 36,000 per month depending on expertise and experience.
