Samvad Samajik Sansthan is a Non-Political, Secular and Non-Profit Social Organization works for marginalized sections of the community; especially women and children. This has been registered under Society’s Registration Act (1860) in the year 1998. Samvad is currently working in three districts of U.P, Pratapgarh, Barabanki and Lucknow on issues of child rights and waste management. One of our major objectives is to promote the rights of the socially excluded children of the remote villages by constantly emphasizing to adopt such excluded children for sponsorship, so that these children can also get an access to education and health. Samvad Samajik Sansthan is looking for candidate for the following position:

Job Title: Document Officer

Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

We are hiring suitable candidates for Lucknow Location for the post of Document Officer :

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Proven experience in document management or a similar role, preferably within the NGO sector.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Commitment to the mission and values of the NGO.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize all documents, records, and files related to the NGO's projects, programs, and administrative activities.

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all documents.

• Develop and maintain efficient filing systems, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval of documents.

• Coordinate with various departments to collect, compile, and maintain necessary documents and reports.

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and other documentation as required.

• Monitor compliance with document management policies and procedures.

• Provide support during audits and evaluations by ensuring all requested documents are readily available.

• Train staff on document management procedures and best practices.

The person would basically be placed in Lucknow but would be requiring to be in the field office.

Remuneration will be according to qualification and experience.
