Job Description

 We are seeking versatile Vocational Training Unit Trainers who will also take on the responsibility of overseeing the production of stitched, paper craft, and decoupage items by trainees with psychosocial disabilities. The ideal candidates will have a passion for both teaching and production management, with the ability to balance the training and operational aspects of the role effectively

Responsibilities:

1. Design and deliver customized training programs in stitching, paper crafts, and decoupage for individuals with psychosocial disabilities.

2. Production of stitched, paper craft, and decoupage items, ensuring quality standards are met.

3. Train and guide trainees in the production process, providing instruction and support as needed.

4. Manage inventory, materials, and production schedules to optimize efficiency and output.

5. Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

6. Maintain records of production activities, including output, quality control measures, and trainee contributions.

7. Collaborate with support staff and caregivers to ensure a safe and inclusive working environment for all trainees.

Qualifications:

1. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Vocational Training, Art, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field.

2. Experience in vocational training and production preferably with individuals with disabilities.

3. Knowledge of stitching, paper crafts, and decoupage techniques, as well as production management principles.

4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide trainees effectively.

5. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

6. Empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting the independence and well-being of individuals with disabilities.

7. Certification in Disability Support or Vocational Training is a plus.
