Job Description Summary: The person would be responsible for supporting the organization and management team in developing, managing and implementation of the project strategies and projects. The Sr. Mgr. identifies trends in the external and internal environment, recognizes risks and opportunities and use insights gained to formulate strategies relative to challenges and opportunities (e.g. emerging regulatory obligations for transports, stakeholders expectations, environmental megatrends, truck drivers and health trends). Successful execution of the project strategy relies on the ability to work closely with external groups such as truck drivers & transports unions, transport ministries, CRRI & NHAI and other stakeholders to make joint effort to achieve the program goals and strategies. Other requirements include a high level of emotional intelligence, influence skills, trust and the experience to be able to gain respect and lead a cross-functional team to accomplish the goals within the organization program strategy. In addition, the role requires the need to stay current with best practices inside and outside of the organization. The position is visible internally and externally and involves frequent interaction with various levels of leadership, staff and external stakeholders.

1. Networking, Liaison and Program Sustainability

o Formulate and develop networking and liaising strategy to engage external stakeholders to achieve the program goal efficiently.

o To liaison with EGF and Senior Management of the Programme

o To liaison with various Government/Non Government/CSR & various other agencies for sponsorship/joint partnership for the programs/projects across the country.

o To have knowledge of Effective management of corporate partnerships.

o To project ideas and proposals for the same by involving external stakeholders.

o To conceive strategies to positive health seeking behaviors in the community

o To ensure media engagement to position the project

2. Project Management

o Develop and implement project strategy to align with overall organization purpose and Sustainability goals.

o Build, maintain and utilize benchmarking, emerging trends research, reporting frameworks, and questionnaires to perform gap analyses necessary to development of the program strategy.

o Identify, understand, prioritize, track, communicate, and provide thought leadership on emerging and current issues related to transport community and Sustainability.

o To have ground to top level working knowledge of the targeted community (transport area) related service providers, transport unions, transport authorities/ statutory authorities & ministries, NGO’s and other related stakeholders

o Create and evolve strong relationships and partnerships with key external and internal stakeholder groups including extensive stakeholder engagement.

o Effective coordination and guidance to project team for implementation of program efficiently.

3. Project Monitoring and Evaluation

o To develop the new tools, format and MIS for effective management of the program.

o To develop strategy for regular monitoring of project partners/hospital partners.

o To review Project financial Budget and Performance.

4. Target Setting and performance management

o To breakdown overall targets into quarterly and monthly targets as per projects plan for CSR Partners.

o To evaluate the performance of the project partners as per the targets assigned on quarterly basis.

o To provide feedback on timely basis and provide inputs to improve the productivity of project partners.

5. Reporting, Documentation & Research

o To develop policy/protocol for networking and liaising strategy with CSR/Government departments.

o To develop project / programme reports and present national levels

o To support the research/project team for paper writing, case study development and other media publishing.

o To do process audits and develop measures to improve key metrics of project partners.

o To prepare quality of life studies to measure impact.

Required Skills

o Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills (English & Hindi).

o Excellent IT Skills and Knowledge of MIS

o Rich experience in Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Networking, Brand Building, Team Management, Stakeholder Management and Engagement, Marketing and Sales skills, Budgeting and Costing control and efficient management.

o Handling multiple partners and ensuring timely quality delivery to be ensured from the team and partners.

o Good understanding of budgetary planning and efficient funds utilization. Well versed with the financial processes.

o Proactive approach in program execution and strategize the approaches to meet the targets and deliverables set in the program. Target Oriented.

o Eager to learn and adopt changes as per the need of the program.

o Positive Attitude for project development and no hesitation to interact with the target community/beneficiaries.

o Knowledge of Govt functionaries related to the targeted community, Various schemes targeting community (Transport)

o Open to travel as the position PAN India involves extensive travelling

o Excellent Interpersonal Skill Adaptable and willing to change

Academic Qualification:

o Masters in Social Work or Masters in Rural Development from institute of repute.

o At least 10 years at PAN India Project Lead Level and preferable with targeted community (Transporters & Drivers)

o Age: 40- 45 Years

Any other responsibilities to be added if any by the Superior / Management.
