About Calcutta Foundation:
Calcutta Foundation through its flagship program Apni Kutir, aims to support women in every step of their journeys towards financial independence through three major verticals: skilling & literacy, individual development, and community building. We have 11 centers running, currently, which operate across West Bengal and Bihar. Young girls and women enroll in several different skills development classes at the centers, including tailoring, beauty and wellness training, and digital literacy. Through our programs, we employ a 360-degree approach to supporting women in every aspect of their journeys to financial independence. The Kutirs are built to bring the world to our women, and connect our women to the world - a platform through which we can bring them opportunities and experiences that they never before have.
