POSITION SUMMARY

PopulationCouncil Consulting is seeking to recruit a well-experienced Creative Designer to support the state-of-the-art learning hub and designing content for it. PCC has been recently awarded the Learning Hub project by USAID India. USAID/India’s Learning Hub project has comprehensive goals aimed at improving knowledge acquisition and learning within and across its health programs. The project seeks to support USAID and their partners to enhance data analysis and documentation, increase program efficiency, and strengthen decision-making processes using data-driven insights. The project will provide insights and foster learning through collaboration and dissemination of the findings, successes, and knowledge gained from its health programs to a wide audience. The Learning Hub will also build the capacity of key Indian research organizations and individuals to expand and institutionalize local measurement and data analysis capabilities in the health sector, aligning with USAID’s commitment to localization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities of Creative Designer include the following.

Develop visual texts and graphics for digital and print media, in consonance with brand voice/style guides and donor’s specifications. These include infographics, brochures, briefs, reports, documents, stories from the field, best practices, posters, banners, social media posts etc.

Create visual concepts that are informative, inspiring, engaging and that stand out in the clutter.

Implement feedback and changes, as per the need of the project.

Advise best practices and optimization through design projects.

Support the external partners in building their creative capacity. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors’ degree/diploma in Graphic design, or Design, or Fine arts.

3-5 years of experience of visual design or similar role for both digital and print media. 

ATTRIBUTES

Proficient in Adobe creative suite, Adobe Photoshop, Coral draw, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva etc.

Strong knowledge of present and emerging design trends across platforms.

Strong animation and video editing skills is an added advantage.

Ability to interact comfortably with different functional teams, receptive to feedback and modify.

Must be detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to multi-task with good time management.
