Kamalnayan Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation is a Corporate Non-Government organization founded by the Bajaj family to commemorate the great work of Shri Jamnalal Bajaj and Shri Kamalnayan Bajaj. The Bajaj Foundation has been actively engaged in various need-based rural developmental programs like Water Resource Development and Management, Sustainable Agriculture development through promoting natural farming practices, Renewable Energy, Formation and strengthening of village institutions, Women’s empowerment, etc. in Wardha district of Maharashtra. 

Job Overview: 

The position is responsible for maintaining the regular MIS database of the organization. The incumbent will work with the Manager and Project coordinators in designing, gathering qualitative and quantitative baseline, interim, and end-line data, management information systems (MIS) and forms for technical monitoring of projects, developing surveys, analysing MIS and survey data, submitting timely MIS reports to the management and donors, and generating appropriate and regular MIS feedback reports to inform programs and enable timely performance reviews and corrective action. 

Major Job Responsibilities: 

Ensure the management information system (MIS) captures and monitors all aspects of the projects within the framework established by the project guidelines.

Support in the roll-out of new applications based on the organization’s requirement.

Respond within agreed time limits.

Develop/Maintain MIS software based on the organization’s requirement.

Provide technical inputs for upgrading the existing IT systems of the organization.

Organize IT capacity building training for staff at regular intervals.

Ensure the capture of all data, including planning data, survey data, and implementing progress both physical and disbursement to the MIS system from the village level.

Oversee the compilation of timely reports, documentation, and follow-up physical and disbursement progress of projects implementation in project villages.

Revise and update regularly methods, formats, and analytical progress of the M&E system.

Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry.

Build the capacity of the Bajaj team on the use of Google Earth, GIS, and various other related technologies useful for a rural development organization.

Mobile-based Data Collection – Provide support in collecting survey data using social cops application, help the team to create the questionnaire in the application.

General Procurement – Provide technical inputs for general software and hardware purchase of Bajaj Foundation.

Conduct regular Internal IT audits with the help of the team.

Cloud Server – Manage cloud server for Bajaj Foundation and take regular backups of the data on the cloud.

Decide on how to record, report, and analyze progress against the Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWPB) and project operation manual and update information needs of project management, line agencies, primary stakeholders, cooperating agencies. 

Essential Qualification & Experience: 

BCA/MCA/B.E (IT/Computer)/MSc. (IT) with at least 3 years of experience in computer hardware & software.

Good understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration highly desirable.

Ability to seek solutions to problems using one’s own resources.

Must have sound knowledge of data analysis in MS Excel.

Age: 25-30 years. 

Experience: 

At least three years of experience in M/E, MIS, data analysis, and documentation-related job will get preference.

Experience in working in Rural Development Projects in Government departments will be an added advantage.
