Garden Reach Institution for Rehabilitation and Research is an institute that is trying to provide inclusive education to children with special needs.

Garden Reach Institute for the Rehabilitation and Research also incubates values of an inclusive society and works with children and young adults with special needs, it is designed for that reason. GRIRR is working directly at the grassroots level with the economically and socially underprivileged, to make education accessible and relevant.

Children are reached out, screened through specialized tools and mainstream support is provided through parents training, support on orientation and nobilities, school preparedness, enrollment, and pedagogical support to attain academic skills. Therefore, the education opportunities imparted by GRIRR are in a formal and special learning format. GRIRR provides therapy and education for children with special needs

Job Description of Speech Therapist in Inclusive digital Education

• Follow and deliver high standard of professional therapeutic service to the beneficiaries of the GRIRR project.

• Assessment & Therapy of CWD’s / PWD’s.

• Individual Goals setting planning of CWD’s And PWD’s.

• Review the Goal setting every six months.

• Encourage the beneficiaries for home based therapy.

• Teach some exercise or train GRIRR Team about the Disability and type of disabilities etc.

• Awareness generation in the community about the disabilities and accessibility.

• Referrals for surgical intervention/ medical etc.

• Follow up for Aids & Appliances.

• Home visit and follow up .for special cases.

• Documentation of all the individual cases.

• Make good relation with the community & family members.

• Good co-ordination between all Admin and Field staff.

• Prepare progress report every 6 months.
